WA Police Remembrance Day - 29 September
The CWA of WA welcomes contributions of crochet or knitted blue poppies to commemorate this day. The Blue Poppy pattern is below for your information. Please return your completed poppies by 31 August 2026 to the Community Coordinator, CWA of WA, 1176 Hay Street, West Perth 6005 (or PO Box 97, West Perth 6872).
This deadline allows sufficient time for them to be forwarded to the WA Police Force, where volunteers will attach an official WA Police Force uniform button to the centre of each poppy. They will then be mounted on reticulation stakes and fitted with a fastening on the back, ready for display.
